The John A. Ferguson Senior High School band program has a long standing history, beginning with the school's opening in 2004. Our pep band and color guard program serve an important role as one of the most visible entities of our school - acting as the voice of our collective Falcon spirit and pride.
Our program is open to all interested Falcons who demonstrate responsibility, desire, ability, and proper attitude to participate as a member of the group. As band members, students will participate in something larger than themselves and develop vital social, leadership, musical, and academic skill-sets. Students are required to be enrolled in a band class to participate, and are placed in classes according to their experience. Students receive academic credit each quarter they are enrolled. Assignments occur throughout the year and consist of a mixture of student participation, attendance, bell ringer quizzes and playing tests.
For information on how to get involved with the program, please contact Mr. Krejci, Director of Bands at tkrejci@dadeschools.net.

Marching Band: The Falcon Pride Marching Band is the voice of Ferguson! This group consists of dedicated students who perform at various pep events at the school: pep rallies, sports games, and other select events. We also compete at various competitions and festivals during the fall marching season.
Pan Life Steel Band: Open to all Ferguson students, this club is comprised of a group of musicians who perform contemporary and popular music on steel pan instruments. This will include afterschool rehearsals and preparation for community performances, school events, and upcoming concerts.
Hail to thee, our Alma Mater, ever loyal, brave and true;
Lead us on in truth and honor in the paths that we pursue
Rising up to every challenge, may we keep our goals so high
Forever we will honor thee: Hail to Ferguson High
