The Falcon Symphonic Band is Ferguson High's premier ensemble for wind and percussion students. This ensemble is open to students with at least one year of prior band experience, by audition with Mr. Krejci. As Ferguson's top ensemble the Falcon Wind Ensemble will prepare exceptional performances of various wind band repertoire. 

In this class, students will prepare to perform two concerts. One concert takes place before winter break, and the second will take place at the end of the spring in addition to district and state MPAs. 

Upcoming Performances:

The Falcon String Orchestra is open to all students, regardless of experience. This ensemble is for students interested in performing on orchestral string instruments; these include the violin, viola, cello, and double bass. In this course, students will learn basic music theory, and string instrument technique. 

In this class, students will prepare to perform two concerts. One concert takes place before winter break, and the second will take place at the end of the spring. 

Upcoming Performances:

The Falcon Jazz band is open to students enrolled in wind ensemble, by audition with Mr. Krejci. This ensemble will provide students a foundation to develop and apply jazz styles through performance of contemporary popular music and jazz literature. 

In this class, students will prepare to perform two concerts alongside the Falcon Wind Ensemble, in addition to district and state MPAs in the Spring.
